TATRAS Explores the Rhythm of Nature for Spring/Summer 2027

by EU Lavish Staff

At Paris Fashion Week, TATRAS unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, The Way of the Sea, a refined exploration of the invisible forces that continuously shape the natural world. Looking to the relationship between wind and water, the collection examines the balance between vulnerability and resilience, translating the ever-changing conditions of the sea into garments that merge technical innovation with understated elegance.

Drawing inspiration from Hiroshi Sugimoto’s meditative seascapes and the sculptural sail-like works of Gualtiero Redivo, TATRAS presents a wardrobe where movement becomes the defining design language. Sheer technical nylons, fluid silk ripstops, layered transparencies, and sail-inspired constructions evoke the motion of wind, while garment-dyed cottons, waxed technical fabrics, lightweight membranes, and protective outerwear reflect the enduring influence of water. Throughout the collection, natural materials and high-performance textiles coexist seamlessly, reinforcing the house’s commitment to functional sophistication.

Technical outerwear remains at the heart of the collection, accompanied by lightweight dresses, skirts, trousers, knitwear, and versatile layering pieces designed for effortless transitions across environments. Material experimentation continues through matte superlight nylons, cotton jacquards, linen-cotton blends, three-dimensional striped cottons, and lightweight padded constructions that emphasize both comfort and durability. Rope-inspired detailing subtly references maritime utility while adding sculptural refinement to the collection’s restrained aesthetic.

Presented in Paris through an immersive installation titled Tension in Space, the collection extended its conceptual narrative beyond the garments themselves. Suspended fabrics, architectural interventions, and wooden pathways invited visitors to experience the interaction between air, pressure, movement, and material firsthand. Spread across two levels, the installation created a dialogue between fashion and environment, allowing guests to physically engage with the same tensions explored throughout the collection.

With The Way of the Sea, TATRAS continues to strengthen its identity as a brand where technical craftsmanship meets timeless luxury. Spring/Summer 2027 offers a thoughtful meditation on adaptation, protection, and movement, presenting contemporary garments shaped by the enduring dialogue between nature and innovation.
