During Paris Fashion Week Men’s, Solid Homme unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, After Nature, a thoughtful exploration of humanity’s evolving relationship with the natural world. Presented within a laboratory-inspired environment draped in yellow netting and filled with terrariums housing miniature ecosystems, the collection examined the paradox of mankind’s desire to both preserve and reconstruct nature simultaneously.
Creative tensions formed the foundation of the collection. Utility and elegance, familiarity and innovation, nature and technology coexisted throughout a wardrobe designed for modern life outdoors. Relaxed silhouettes replaced rigid formality, with workwear jackets, windbreakers, blousons, and lightweight outerwear appearing weathered and lived-in. Washed silks, textured cottons, and perforated fabrics created garments that felt shaped by time, while fluid matching sets and shirts introduced a softer sense of movement.
Functionality emerged as a defining motif. Technical hoods, boonie hats, magnifying glasses worn around the neck, and field-inspired bags referenced observation, exploration, and discovery. Utility vests, jumpsuits, rubber boots, and practical accessories were elevated through unexpected styling and vivid injections of color. A palette of foam, milk, muted greens, and earthy neutrals was energized by flashes of canary yellow, violet, cerulean blue, and poppy red, creating visual signals that appeared to emerge naturally from the landscape itself.
The presentation’s immersive setting reinforced the collection’s central message. Convex lenses attached to terrariums magnified fragments of enclosed ecosystems, while models wandered between installations, embodying the delicate balance between preservation and invention. Through After Nature, Solid Homme offers a compelling meditation on modern existence—one where humanity’s impulse to reshape the world remains in constant dialogue with the very nature it seeks to understand.
