FW26 builds on the defining sleepover scene in The Princess Diaries — tracing the arc from awkward
outsider to assured princess. Transformation is not instant; it is claimed. A princess is not born — she steps
into it.Another inspiration, the moment in Sex and the City when Carrie is running through snowy New York
on New Year’s Eve in pyjamas to spent time with her best
friend Miranda. The interplay of intimacy and exposure —
private dressing made public — defines the attitude of FW26.
Nightwear shifts context: boxer shorts, sheer layers over pink
lingerie, relaxed silhouettes finished with crowns. A star is
born is about a young woman,
entirely in control of her narrative.
The collection introduces cozy winter textures and playful
details: lamb-shaped bags, sleeping masks, glittering star
applications, and glittery prize bows in knitwear pieces.
Laser-cut jewellery motifs and stars appear on tops and
outerwear, referencing classic femininity while maintaining a
modern edge. A grounded colour palette of grey, black, white,
and brown is punctuated with soft pinks and blue accents,
while metallic and glitter
details evoke starlight against awinter sky.
FW26 also revisits Florentina Leitner’s beginning collection
of the brand (“Der Zauberberg”), exploration of prize bows,
symbols of achievement and recognition. This season, bows
and beauty queen sashes are reimagined as functional
accessories, transformed into bags and pieces designed to
carry everyday essentials, including water bottles. The
message is clear: success is a journey. Our girls stay hydrated.
