Malan Breton, known for being a multimedia experience of fashion, film, TV, music, and theatre,
took the stage at the open air Zappeion Megaron in Athens Greece under Sundays full moon, at
Athens Fashion Week, to present a collection of 40 looks inspired by the great artist of comedy
and tragedy Pierrot. The event opened with a trailer to “Je Suis Mona” A film starring muse and
activist Elton Ilirjani. The Film directed by Malan Breton and Yongxin Lee was shot in Europe
over fashion month, and will release this fall in cinemas internationally.

The collection presentation was a mixed media event incorporating the tailoring, and artistic
drama that Breton is synonymous for. The collection created of leather, silk chiffon, silk brocade,
feathers, paillettes. The colour palette featured shades of Scarlett Smile, Plum, Lucent White,
Golden Palm, Baritone Blue, Dark Gull Grey, and Jet Black. In silhouettes for everyone, with a
focus on the tailoring he is know for after training on Savile Row.

Music, lighting, and the atmosphere were set to evoke three moods; kandor, melancholy, and
triumph of love. Each of Malan Breton’s collection presentations is a celebration of the arts, a
medium he is rooted in from childhood, and humanity.

With music performed by Operatic Soprano Courtney Mills, and a fashion ballet enacted by
muse and activist Elton Ilirjani in a black patent leather gown cut in 88 pieces with hand studded
detail. The mood of the show ended with a wish for all by Breton. One of hope that we will all
embrace the beauty in our hearts, and learn to love one another again
