The 23rd edition of Art Basel Miami Beach returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center from December 5–7, 2025, with Preview Days on December 3–4. This year’s fair brings together 283 leading galleries from 43 countries, reaffirming its position as one of the world’s most significant contemporary art events. UBS continues as the Global Lead Partner.
In 2025, the fair highlights the voices, histories, and innovations shaping the American art scene within an increasingly global context. The event will showcase a dynamic range of artistic perspectives — from Latinx, Indigenous, and diasporic practices to emergent digital forms — all examining how artists across the Americas are redefining Modernism and the broader art canon.
“Art Basel Miami Beach stands at the intersection of culture and the market — a platform where artistic vision and economic energy converge to define what comes next,” said Bridget Finn, Director of Art Basel Miami Beach. “In 2025, we bring together exceptional galleries, artists, and patrons in an environment defined by rigor, exchange, and possibility.”
Expanding the Conversation
Across its four main sectors — Galleries, Positions, Nova, and Survey — this year’s fair underscores curatorial excellence, geographic diversity, and historical rediscovery.
Key Highlights
- Meridians, curated by Yasmil Raymond, anchors the fair with the theme “The Shape of Time.” This ambitious section explores how artists engage with, distort, and embody time through large-scale works and immersive installations.
- A revitalized Conversations program will unite artists, collectors, and cultural thinkers for three days of live discussion and debate. It opens with a full day dedicated to the intersection of art and sport, alongside the return of the popular Digital Dialogues series.
- The debut of Zero 10, curated by Eli Scheinman and presented with support from OpenSea, introduces a new platform dedicated to digital-era art. Zero 10 aims to set a benchmark for how digital works are exhibited, contextualized, and collected within Art Basel’s global ecosystem.
- The Art Basel Awards, presented in partnership with BOSS, make their U.S. premiere. Eleven artists and institutions will be honored with the inaugural Gold Awards on December 4.
